This week, the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) Young Entrepreneurs Society (YES) joins the global celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) from November 18 to 22, 2024, under the theme “Entrepreneurship is for everyone.”
In a remarkable display of solidarity and community spirit, the CSPC YES, in collaboration with the Young Entrepreneurs Society (YES) from the University of Antique Chapter, launched the Day 1 of the Community Bayanihan earlier today. The event, held at 8:00 AM in front of the College Auditorium, aimed to extend support to CSPCeans affected by Tropical Storm Kristine and Super Typhoon Pepito by distributing free food and school supplies.
Entrepreneurship with a Heart
The GEW celebration at CSPC this year goes beyond workshops and seminars, embodying the essence of entrepreneurship as a force for good. The Community Bayanihan initiative showcases how entrepreneurial efforts can serve as a source of hope and resilience, especially in times of adversity.
“Our GEW celebration this year is far from ordinary; it exemplifies how entrepreneurship is not just accessible to all but also serves as a beacon of hope for those in need,” said a representative from CSPC YES.
The CSPC community also expressed its gratitude to the students and faculty of the University of Antique YES chapter for their generosity and active participation in the initiative.
Day 2 Awaits
The Community Bayanihan continues tomorrow, Day 2, with another round of outreach activities scheduled to take place at 8:00 AM in front of the CTHBM Dean’s Office.
CSPCeans and members of the community are encouraged to join and support this heartwarming initiative as the celebration of GEW 2024 unfolds throughout the week.
