This 2017, Miriam College Philippines, CBEA-Department of Entrepreneurship, a CHED designated Center of Excellence, and the Society of Junior Entrepreneurs (SJE) is hosting and co-organizing this event for its 2nd and final year as the GEW’s official school partner. This year, the GEW “Failing Forward” with subtheme “Responsible Entrepreneurial Leadership” aims to bring together young and transformative entrepreneurial leaders who are changing people’s mindsets through their experiences and expertise in their respective fields.
The highly interactive student activities, like venture pitching competitions in 2 categories, have been organized to prepare and hone students in design and creative thinking. These workshops help build and focus their ideas on acceptable and viable undertakings through coaching by panels judges composed of faculty members and entrepreneurs. This year, cash prizes await the winners from the MC UNESCO EE Net Sponsor, 3M.
Maria Luisa B. Gatchalian – MC GEW Moderator
