Despite the heavy rainfall and traffic jam, the Young Entrepreneurs Society Philippines’ Forum with the topic The Power of Bitcoin still pushed through last July 28 at the Impact Hub Manila inside Green Sun Hotel, Makati City.
The event’s place was filled with approximately 100 startups, founders, investors and aspiring entrepreneurs who attended the YES Forum (others were not in the photo above). The outpouring of rain and heavy traffic didn’t hinder the YES members to make the gathering a success.
When the clock ticked at 7pm, the event started with a great opening message from the founder of Impact Hub Manila, Ms. Liz Andrea Kuster. She warmly welcomed everyone and briefly introduced Impact Hub Manila and what the services it can offer.
After some welcoming, the set of powerful speakers began to speak and hit participants with great discoveries about the Power of Bitcoin. Mr. Miguel Antonio Cuneta, Co-founder of Satoshi Citadel Industries, initiated the first talk and then followed by Jay Villarante, Co-founder/Managing Partner at Loud Panda Interactive, Inc., and the two people from Satoshi. Afterwards, Mr. Joe Maristela, an active angel investor for Bitcoin startup, also discussed about the Bitcoin.

This forum was made possible through the partnership of YES Philippines with the angel investors Joe Maristela, Howie Ross-Valino and their team.
YES Forum is the monthly networking gathering organized by YES Philippines to educate, promote, encourage, network, and develop aspiring and successful entrepreneurs.
